Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and Softinsa launch Micro-credentialing in Microsoft Azure Data Base Fundamentals

The Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) and Softinsa, within the scope of their over 10-year partnership, are launching two Micro-credentialing programs based on Microsoft Technology Data Science & Analytics tools.

The first Micro-credentialing will be in Microsoft Azure Data Base Fundamentals, followed by a second Micro-credentialing in Microsoft BI Analytics & Power Platform Fundamentals.

This is another joint training bet, after the launch of several editions of Postgraduate courses in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Management Systems – SAP ERP and the do recognized worldwide program “SAP University Alliances”.

Micro-credentialing allows for accelerated development of skills in various technological areas in high demand in the market, being an opportunity for trainees to develop differentiating skills and integrate the new generation of Softinsa talents.

Students will have training with experienced Softinsa professionals. After successfully completing each of the micro-credentialing programs, they will be entitled to a merit scholarship, which will cover their expenses with fees and tuition.

Each of these training offers has 40 hours of contact and is part of the A23 Polytechnic Network Consortium do Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aiming to empower companies and employees with greater literacy and control over their data, contributing to more assertive and strategic decision-making, autonomously and in line with the evolution and competitiveness required by the markets.

This initiative arises in the current context, where data is one of the most important assets of a company or industry, regardless of its sector or size. In this sense, there is a growing demand for qualified consultants and technicians, with competence in developing methodologies, approaches, and operating technologies to enhance this asset, making it easier to consolidate, understand, and extract value.
