Softinsa recognizes the importance of expressing the commitment to practice sustainable development in management, thus maintaining a good organization and commitment with regard to environmental aspects, as well as the continuous improvement of the environmental management system, in order to improve its performance for the environment protection.
Thus, Softinsa identifies the importance of minimizing the environmental impact in business operations with the people who are part of its organization and in the various existing centers, thus taking care of the environment.
In this sense, and recognizing the crucial role of the environment, the following principles have been established to be complied with:
- Integrate and continuously improve the environmental management system into the management strategy;
- Ensure that employees are aware of environmental impacts, as well as that the necessary resources are available to minimize impacts and ensure that they receive the appropriate training.
- Ensure responsible use of energy in all centres and incorporate water and energy efficiency measures in offices, as well as promote the efficient use of resources in all areas of business activity.
- Manage waste in order to minimise its impact on the environment, prioritising minimisation, reuse, recovery, recycling and other recyclable materials.
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace and ensure the preservation of the environment by working ethically, thus avoiding pollution and reducing the negative impact of the activities carried out in the centers;
- Ensure compliance with the environmental legal requirements applicable to the organization and the requirements voluntarily assumed by the organization.
- Implement a periodic assessment of the environmental aspects derived from the activity, for proper maintenance and periodically present progress reports
- Establish objectives, targets and indicators in line with some of the SDG goals that enable us to know in a quantifiable way the environmental impact of products/services, in order to minimize their impact.
- To be a responsible company in the community, to act quickly and responsibly in order to correct any accidents or conditions that endanger health, safety or the environment.
